Currently we are serving in the city of Puerto Plata. Puerto Plata is  a coastal city located in the northern region with a population of 158,756.  95% of the country claim catholocism but in this city, it is more 50%/50%. The people are drenched in Pentecostals and Charismatics. Our hearts hurt as they have been deceived by the emotions of so called "Christians."
     Iglesia Bautista Vista Al Mar (Ocean View Baptist Church) was started by Missionary Stu Schepper in 2015. In 2017, we merged the two ministries as The Scheppers were moving to another city to minister. 
   
      The heart of our team has been to see another work started here in the neighboring provinces of the North Coast.  June of 2023, the doors started opening for our teammates, Cleverson and Stefanie Faria along with Brandon and Regina Bell to start looking towards other regions. Through guidance and investigation, they have settled in the city of La Vega. Pray with us for relationships and ministries to grow as we see this new church started there.
   
      As we live life and meet people here in this area of the Dominican Republic, we desire to live out the truth from God's Word and to share the gospel of TRUE  Salvation while we strive to live Christ before them.
